Do you remember yourself as a child? Discovering the world... Being amazed, being amused... Seeing magic in everything...
Watching this little munchkin explore our studio was such a delight. He was very much like a little mobile rainbow splashing in the waves of laughter. Brightening everything around him. Making us all smile :)
We had a such wonderful Christmas season this year. Old friends, new friends... Lots of laughs and surprises...
Can't wait to have everyone (including Santa) back in our studio next year and see what we can create together!
We often have children who don't want to leave our studio at the end of their session. They come with all sorts of reasons why they should stay...
After saying good bye to all the creatures and animals living in the Enchanted Forest, little fairy Alicia came to us, and softly told us, 'Mr Froggy whispered to me, 'Please stay...' They all [creatures] whispered to me, 'Please stay!'
Her blue-blue eyes were glowing with gentleness... and I believed every word she said...
I haven't seen Mimi for two years almost to a day...
Trying to imagine what she looked like these days, I sifted through my memories of a mischievous munchkin, who hesitantly allowed me to take a few shots before suddenly deciding she wasn't much into being photographed that day.
Well... the little sprite blossomed into a gracious little fairy who doesn't mind being photographed at all :)
Here is a photo from two years ago. She was sooo tiny and sooo funny!
Every time our clients come back to us my heart sings... and then melts... :)
And how can it not?
As far as I'm concerned there is no bigger recognition and no bigger award in this world.
As to Zayden... he is incredibly special to us. He was the reason we made our first 'Elf' wings and the rustic fishing rod for our Enchanted Forest. Wish I could elaborate, but can't right now, way too busy with all the Christmas orders. I'll have to make another post... hopefully very soon :)
You have to agree the weather is absolutely incredible this fall.
One look out of the window is enough to make you feel that something is seriously wrong with the calendar... and posting some wonderful memories from earlier this fall seems like the thing to do. I hope it stays like this at least until March :)

We met Salifya a year ago at the Frozen Christmas Fundraiser. She was the winner of our Early Bird Draw and was extremely excited about it... and so were we!! Her gentle kind nature stole our hearts right away... If you read our last Facebook post you know that her and her Mom gave us this beautiful dress as a gift so that other girls can enjoy it .
Two little darling fairies, adorable beyond words.
Looked like they just stepped out of a fairy tale....
They are sooo incredibly tiny...
...and indescribably cute.
They will never fit into our hands the way they did in their first month...
... and you'll never get a second chance to take their newborn photos.
In time these images will become a treasure in itself.
These little bundles of love inspire us to be our best.
They remind us every day what is truly important in life...
...and give us a deeper appreciation of the world.
Because they are our world!
Suddenly it feels very Christmasy! Both outside and inside our studio.
Sidewalks and roofs got a fine dusting of snow... Not too much, but visible.
Christmas Day is only a month away.

Babies... The ultimate joy and treasure of our lives.
Life without them is unimaginable and rather impossible.
They completely change our world the minute they arrive.
Their endless expressions make our hearts melt.
Watching them sleep makes our worries fade away.
Seeing how strong they are gives us hope that the world will be a better place tomorrow.
Of course we, photographers, want all our newborn sessions to go like this... adorable babies peacefully snoozing through entire sessions to the Ooo's and Aahh's of everyone around them.
In reality, this is what we get most of the time... And I think it's wonderful!
Because you can see their personalities shine through even at such an early age.
Cute beyond words then, cute beyond words now... The only difference, it took us forever to photograph a hug two years ago and only a few seconds now.
Two years ago the little Peyton insisted on hugging her brother's head in the cutest and funniest way and protested every time we tried to 'alter' her wonderful way of hugging.
Now baby-girl became "big sister". I'm still trying to get used to that thought :)

Just as I was putting together a collage for our clients to let them know that all of their proofs are ready to be viewed, my husband shared on Facebook a memory from two years ago...
I couldn't believe when I saw the date. And then when I counted the number of photos in each post... I got another surprise!
